The invite most guests actually open is the one in the family group chat. These are full video invitations — motion, music and story — from a Bengali biye with mandap and banana trees (mine, as it happens) to Ganesh Chaturthi at home, a Christmas party and an upanayan. Tap any of them to play.
The annaprashan invite is a Bengali household staple — and every family wants theirs different. A pastel cloud card, a photo-collage mockup, an all-Bengali edition with a hand-drawn family caricature, and one that moves: an animated GIF invite that plays right in the family WhatsApp group.
